Rules and Regulations



  • Attire:
    • All Players Must wear non-marking Tennis Shoes
    • All Players must wear proper tennis clothing
      • No Tank Tops
      • Must be clean and presentable (no rips/holes/dirt etc.)
  • Conduct:
    • Improper conduct or language is forbidden
    • All courts are to remain clean and free of litter
      • Please pick up your water bottles, tennis ball can lids, old grips and dispose them accordingly
    • Tennis courts are for playing tennis. No other activity is acceptable
    • All Players (members / guests) must adhere to the instruction provided by the Board of Directors
    • Please be courteous to your fellow members and treat each other with respect
  • Memberships:
    • All players playing outside of public hour must be able to present membership card
      • There are no exceptions to this rule
      • If you forgot your proof of membership you will be asked to leave the courts
    • Memberships are non transferrable
    • Membership fees are to be paid on time to the appropriate board member
    • Members have priority to play over guests / non-members
  • Guests / Public Use:    (No Guest, Allow at this moment )
    • Guests can play on the court with a member so long as they pay the non-member fee ($15.00)
    • All Guests / Public must abide by the same rules and regulations as members
    • the Public may only play during the designated public hours (Sat / Sun from 12pm-2pm)
    • Any  non member can be asked to leave by a member if they do not adhere to the rules
  •  Court Reservation:
    • No court can be reserved ahead of time (except by the Club Pro)
    • Courts are changed over after 30min of play
    •  Please remain patient and respect member’s playing time
  • *** COVID 19 Guidelines *** (Subject to change):
    • Prior to attending a community tennis club, every player must do the self-assessment for COVID-19 on the Ontario Ministry of Health website and if they do not pass the assessment they should not attend a community tennis club court until they pass the assessment and do not have signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
    • All tennis players should be aware of signs and symptoms of COVID-19, including: Fever / Cough / Difficulty breathing /Muscle aches / Tiredness / Sore throat / Headache / Runny nose / New loss of taste or smell
    • Anyone who is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or has had close contact with a confirmed case cannot enter a community tennis club.
    • Access to community tennis clubs is restricted to tennis players only, and any required staff. Spectators are not permitted.
    • All activities must always comply with the social distancing measures and recommendations issued by federal, provincial, and municipal government authorities, including the arrival and departure of players.
    • Under advisement of Chief Medical Officer of Health of the Province of Ontario all Clients 70+, are strongly encouraged to self-isolate.
    • Practice physical Distancing
    • Stay at home when you are ill
    • Respect Provincial Emergency orders
    • Avoid all physical contact, for example shaking hands with other players.
    • Leave the court and facilities immediately after you finish playing.  DO NOT SIT on any areas or Congregate in groups inside the Club area.
